LINKLYFE PRIVACY POLICY
Last updated: August 18, 2026
LinkLyfe LLC (“LinkLyfe,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how LinkLyfe collects, uses, stores, shares, protects, retains, and deletes information when you use the LinkLyfe mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
This Privacy Policy is intended to describe LinkLyfe’s actual data practices. It should be read together with the LinkLyfe Terms & Conditions. If a feature, provider, or data practice materially changes, we may update this Privacy Policy and our Google Play disclosures as appropriate.
1. WHAT LINKLYFE DOES
LinkLyfe is an AI-powered productivity and life-planning service. It provides guided tools for tasks such as resume building, email rewriting, study help, idea development, budgeting, task planning, trip planning, meal planning, captions, fitness planning, saved projects, Combine flows, Explore features, Agent Smith features, Evidence Search, and other AI-assisted workflows.
Depending on the feature you use, LinkLyfe may allow you to create or sign in to an account, use a guest session, enter or upload content, generate AI responses, save and sync projects, customize preferences, schedule reminders, search for evidence or sources, plan routes, post or share content, report content, and delete your account and associated data.
2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We collect information you provide, information generated through your use of the Service, and limited technical information needed to operate and secure LinkLyfe.
A. Account, Identity, and Authentication Information
When you create, upgrade, or sign in to a LinkLyfe account, we may process information such as:
- email address;
- display name;
- profile image or profile-image URL;
- Firebase user identifier;
- LinkLyfe user identifier;
- authentication provider and provider identifiers;
- sign-in status and account-linking information;
- Explore/community Terms acceptance records, such as the applicable Terms version and the date/time of acceptance associated with your LinkLyfe account; and
- profile information you choose to provide.
LinkLyfe currently supports authentication methods that may include email/password, Google sign-in, and Facebook sign-in.
If you use Google or Facebook sign-in, the provider may send LinkLyfe account information permitted by the provider and the permissions used, such as an account identifier, display name, email address, or profile image.
Guest use may still create an anonymous Firebase Authentication session and an associated technical identifier so LinkLyfe can authenticate requests to its backend without requiring a named account.
LinkLyfe does not intentionally store your account password in its own profile database. Email/password authentication is handled through Firebase Authentication, and third-party sign-in credentials are handled by the applicable authentication provider and Firebase Authentication.
B. Content You Provide and Create
Depending on the feature, LinkLyfe may process content you enter, upload, generate, save, or share, including:
- prompts and form responses;
- resumes, job descriptions, emails, notes, tasks, study material, captions, and other text;
- budgeting and financial-planning information you choose to enter;
- meal, dietary, nutrition, fitness, wellness, and health-related planning information you choose to enter;
- trip destinations, dates, place searches, route details, and travel preferences;
- AI-generated outputs;
- saved projects and Combine results;
- presets, Thinking Rules, customization settings, and preferences;
- Agent Smith sessions, checkpoints, reminders, or related content;
- Explore posts, shared projects, titles, summaries, comments, profile information, friend or connection activity, and similar community content;
- reports or moderation submissions, including content you choose to report; and
- profile images or other media you choose to upload.
You should provide only information necessary for the feature you are using. LinkLyfe’s current planning features do not require Social Security numbers, payment-card numbers, bank-login credentials, account passwords, or similar highly sensitive identifiers. Do not enter those types of information into prompts, public posts, or other free-text fields.
C. Travel and Place Information
When you use supported place-search or route-planning features, LinkLyfe may process:
- place names and search text;
- selected Google Place identifiers;
- starting points, destinations, and route stops;
- regional or destination context you provide; and
- route results such as distance and estimated travel time.
This information may describe a location you plan to visit or a location you manually enter. LinkLyfe may transmit the information needed to fulfill the request to Google Maps Platform through LinkLyfe’s backend.
D. Technical, Security, and Diagnostic Information
LinkLyfe may process limited technical information needed to deliver, secure, troubleshoot, and protect the Service, including:
- device type, operating-system information, and app version;
- network information such as IP address or proxy-forwarding information when requests reach our backend;
- request identifiers;
- request method and backend route;
- response status and request duration;
- authentication status;
- rate-limit and abuse-prevention information;
- Firebase App Check verification status;
- Firebase or Play Integrity attestation information or tokens used to verify that requests come from a legitimate app or device environment;
- Firebase user-agent information associated with Firebase services;
- notification preferences and whether Android notification permission is available or enabled where the app checks that status; and
- error or diagnostic information generated by LinkLyfe or its service providers.
LinkLyfe’s backend is designed to avoid logging raw AI prompts and raw Evidence Search queries in normal request-completion logs. Limited request and error metadata may still be logged for security, debugging, abuse prevention, reliability, and operational purposes.
E. Support, Privacy, Legal, and Moderation Communications
If you contact LinkLyfe, submit a privacy or deletion request, report content, make an intellectual-property complaint, submit an intimate-image removal request, or send another support or legal communication, we may collect the information you provide in that communication, such as your name, email address, account information, message, supporting materials, and information needed to evaluate or respond to the request.
F. Health, Nutrition, Fitness, and Financial Planning Information
Some LinkLyfe features may ask you to voluntarily provide information related to health, wellness, nutrition, fitness, or personal finances so the requested feature can work. Depending on what you choose to enter, this may include information such as age, height, weight, activity level, exercise habits, fitness goals, calorie or nutrition targets, dietary preferences or restrictions, symptoms or health concerns described for planning purposes, household budget, income or expense information, bills, debt, savings goals, subscription costs, or other financial-planning details.
Health-related information may be considered sensitive or consumer health data under certain laws. LinkLyfe uses this information to provide the feature you requested, maintain saved or synchronized content where applicable, secure the Service, and support related operational needs. If an AI-powered feature is used, relevant health, nutrition, fitness, or financial-planning inputs may be transmitted to OpenAI as described in Section 5.
LinkLyfe is a general consumer productivity and planning service and is not designed to function as a medical record system, health-care provider, health plan, bank, broker, investment adviser, lender, tax preparer, or other regulated professional service. Unless separately agreed in writing for a specific regulated use, you should not use LinkLyfe to transmit information on behalf of a health-care provider, health plan, financial institution, or other regulated entity where special contractual or statutory handling requirements apply.
Current LinkLyfe features do not require you to provide Social Security numbers, payment-card numbers, bank-account login credentials, brokerage credentials, insurance-member credentials, or medical-record portal passwords. Do not enter those credentials or identifiers into prompts, public posts, or free-text fields.
Calorie, nutrition, fitness, wellness, budgeting, savings, debt, and similar calculations or suggestions may be generated from information you provide and may be estimates. The fact that LinkLyfe processes such information does not make LinkLyfe a medical, nutritional, financial, investment, tax, or other professional adviser.
3. HOW WE COLLECT INFORMATION
We may collect information:
- directly from you when you enter, upload, save, post, share, report, or submit it;
- automatically when the app or backend processes a request;
- from Firebase Authentication when you sign in, create an account, or use an anonymous guest session;
- when you affirmatively accept Terms, community rules, or other feature-specific policies presented in the app;
- from Google or Facebook when you choose to use those sign-in methods;
- from Google Maps Platform when LinkLyfe requests place or route information;
- from AI, search, hosting, security, and infrastructure providers used to provide the Service; and
- from other users when they interact with content you have chosen to share.
4. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We may use information to:
- provide, operate, maintain, and improve LinkLyfe features;
- generate AI-powered responses;
- authenticate users and guest sessions;
- create and maintain LinkLyfe identity records;
- save, restore, and sync projects, preferences, presets, user settings, reminders, and related app data;
- provide place suggestions and calculate routes;
- provide Evidence Search and related source-discovery functionality;
- display content you choose to share through Explore, Friends, Community, shared-project, or similar features;
- document and enforce acceptance of the applicable Terms, community rules, or other user policies before supported Explore/community publishing features are used;
- support reporting, blocking, moderation, safety, and content enforcement;
- send or schedule notifications and reminders when you enable them;
- protect accounts and the Service from fraud, abuse, spam, automated misuse, unauthorized access, and security threats;
- validate requests using authentication, App Check, Play Integrity, rate limits, and other security controls;
- debug errors and investigate reliability or security problems;
- respond to support, privacy, deletion, legal, and safety requests;
- enforce our Terms & Conditions;
- comply with law, legal process, contractual requirements, and app-store requirements; and
- protect the rights, safety, property, and security of LinkLyfe, our users, service providers, and others.
5. AI PROCESSING AND OPENAI
LinkLyfe uses OpenAI API services to provide certain AI-powered features.
When you use an AI-powered feature, the prompt, form inputs, uploaded or entered text, relevant saved context, and other information needed to answer your request may be transmitted from LinkLyfe’s backend to OpenAI for processing. The resulting AI output is returned to LinkLyfe and then displayed to you and, depending on the feature, may be saved if you choose to save it or if the feature requires saved state.
OpenAI states that, by default, it does not use inputs or outputs submitted through its API Platform to train or improve its models unless the API customer explicitly opts in to data sharing. OpenAI also states that certain API data may be retained for a limited period for abuse monitoring or legal compliance, subject to OpenAI’s then-current policies and the specific API features used.
OpenAI’s handling of data is governed by its own applicable terms, privacy documentation, and business-data policies. LinkLyfe does not control changes to OpenAI’s independent policies or systems.
Do not include unnecessary highly sensitive information in AI prompts. AI-generated content may also contain errors; decisions about whether and how to use AI output remain with you.
6. FIREBASE, AUTHENTICATION, APP CHECK, AND PLAY INTEGRITY
LinkLyfe uses Firebase and related Google services for account and app infrastructure, including services such as:
- Firebase Authentication for named and anonymous authentication;
- Cloud Firestore for account-related and synchronized app data;
- Firebase Storage for uploaded profile images or related media; and
- Firebase App Check with Play Integrity for app-attestation and abuse-prevention signals.
App Check helps LinkLyfe verify that requests to protected resources originate from an authentic app or acceptable app environment. Depending on configuration and device environment, Firebase App Check and Play Integrity may process integrity or attestation tokens and technical information needed to evaluate app authenticity and protect backend resources.
Firebase and Google process information under their own terms and privacy policies. LinkLyfe’s use of these services does not give LinkLyfe access to all data Google may independently process in providing them.
7. GOOGLE MAPS PLATFORM
LinkLyfe uses Google Maps Platform, including the Places API and Routes API, to provide place and business suggestions, identify selected locations, calculate routes, estimate distances, and estimate travel times in supported travel-planning features.
When you use these features, place names or search text you enter, selected Google Place identifiers, route starting points, destinations, stops, and other location information needed to provide the requested functionality may be transmitted to Google through LinkLyfe’s backend.
Google may process information associated with Google Maps Platform requests in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy and the applicable Google Maps Platform terms.
LinkLyfe displays Google attribution when required for Google-provided place suggestions or route information.
LinkLyfe does not use Google Maps Platform location information for advertising purposes. Information submitted through these features is used to provide the place-search and route-planning functionality you request, protect the Service, and support related operational needs.
Your use of Google Maps features and content within LinkLyfe is also subject to the then-current Google Maps End User Additional Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy. Google’s Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference with respect to LinkLyfe’s use of Google Maps Platform.
8. EVIDENCE SEARCH AND SEARCH PROVIDERS
LinkLyfe may provide Evidence Search or similar features that retrieve source links, snippets, or search results from the public web.
To provide Evidence Search, the search query you enter may be transmitted through LinkLyfe’s backend to a search-results provider. LinkLyfe currently uses SerpApi with a DuckDuckGo search integration for this purpose.
Search providers and the websites returned in search results operate independently from LinkLyfe and may have their own privacy practices. If you open a third-party result, your interaction with that website is governed by that website’s policies, not this Privacy Policy.
9. PUBLIC, SHARED, AND COMMUNITY CONTENT
Some LinkLyfe features may allow you to share content with other users, including through Explore, Friends, Community, shared projects, or similar features.
Content you choose to publish or share may be visible to the audience you select. Depending on the feature, other users may be able to view, save, screenshot, copy, report, or otherwise interact with shared content.
Before a signed-in user creates, uploads, publishes, or shares user-generated content through supported Explore/community features, LinkLyfe may require affirmative acceptance of the then-current Terms or user policy. To document that acceptance, LinkLyfe may associate the acceptance with the LinkLyfe user identifier and store the applicable Terms version and date/time of acceptance locally and, for signed-in accounts, in supported cloud account data. If the applicable Terms version changes, LinkLyfe may require renewed acceptance before the affected publishing feature can be used again.
Do not post private, confidential, highly sensitive, or personally identifying information that you do not want others to access.
LinkLyfe may process information about sharing, friendship or connection activity, reports, blocks, moderation actions, and content status as needed to provide and protect community features.
We may review, remove, restrict, preserve, or disclose content where reasonably necessary to enforce our Terms, investigate reports, protect users, comply with law, or protect LinkLyfe and its service providers.
10. HOW WE SHARE OR DISCLOSE INFORMATION
LinkLyfe may disclose information in the following circumstances:
Service Providers
We may provide information to vendors and service providers that process data on our behalf or as necessary to provide functionality, such as Firebase/Google, OpenAI, authentication providers, Google Maps Platform, search providers, backend/cloud hosting providers, and app-distribution platforms.
User-Directed Sharing
If you choose to publish or share content with friends, community users, or another audience, we disclose that content according to the sharing option you select.
Authentication Providers
If you choose Google or Facebook sign-in, information may be exchanged with the applicable provider as necessary to authenticate and link your account.
Legal, Safety, and Security Reasons
We may preserve or disclose information if we reasonably believe doing so is necessary to comply with law or legal process; respond to lawful requests; investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, or Terms violations; protect rights or safety; or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Business Transfers
If LinkLyfe or substantially all relevant business assets are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar transaction, information may be disclosed or transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.
We do not treat a service provider’s processing of data solely to perform services for LinkLyfe as user-directed public sharing.
11. LOCAL AND CLOUD STORAGE
Some LinkLyfe information is stored locally on your device, while other information may be stored in cloud systems associated with your account or processed by LinkLyfe’s backend and service providers.
Examples of locally stored data may include app preferences, local guest data, drafts, recent state, reminders, or cached information. Signed-in users may have certain projects, settings, profile information, Daily state, Explore or social data, Terms-acceptance metadata, and other supported content synchronized to cloud services.
Guest mode does not necessarily mean that no information leaves your device. Features that require AI generation, Evidence Search, authentication, place suggestions, route calculation, or other backend services may send the information needed for that request to LinkLyfe’s backend and relevant service providers. Guest backend requests may use an anonymous Firebase Authentication session.
Deleting the LinkLyfe app from your device does not by itself delete cloud-stored account data. Use LinkLyfe’s account-deletion process if you want to delete the account and associated active LinkLyfe data.
12. DATA RETENTION
We retain information for periods reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and as permitted or required by law.
In general:
- account and profile information may be retained while your account remains active;
- saved projects, settings, community content, and synchronized app data may remain until you delete them, delete your account, or they are removed under our policies;
- local data may remain on your device until you clear it, delete it through LinkLyfe, delete the app, or reset the device;
- support, moderation, fraud-prevention, security, legal, and dispute-related records may be retained for a period reasonably necessary to address the issue and protect the Service;
- limited technical and security logs may be retained as reasonably necessary for reliability, security, abuse prevention, and legal compliance; and
- backup copies may persist temporarily after deletion until normal backup rotation or deletion processes complete.
Third-party providers may retain information according to their own policies and contractual obligations. For example, OpenAI’s current API policies describe limited retention of certain API data for abuse monitoring unless different retention controls apply.
We may retain information longer when required or permitted for legal obligations, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, enforcement, or protection of legal rights.
13. ACCOUNT AND DATA DELETION
You may delete your LinkLyfe account and associated active LinkLyfe data from inside the app through:
Account & Privacy > Delete Account & Data
You may also use LinkLyfe’s account-deletion webpage:
https://linklyfe.com/delete-account-and-data
For assistance with account or data deletion, contact:
When a valid deletion request is completed, LinkLyfe will take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize account data associated with your LinkLyfe account from active systems, subject to technical, legal, security, fraud-prevention, backup, and record-retention requirements.
Limited information may remain temporarily in backups, logs, security or fraud-prevention records, legal records, or other records we are required or permitted to retain.
Content that you previously made public or shared with other users may not be fully removable from screenshots, copies, cached views, third-party systems, or material independently retained by other users.
Deleting a LinkLyfe account does not delete your separate Google, Facebook, email-provider, or other third-party account.
14. SECURITY
LinkLyfe uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information and reduce unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, disclosure, and abuse.
Current safeguards include measures such as:
- Firebase Authentication and account reauthentication for sensitive actions;
- access-control and ownership rules for cloud data;
- server-side API credentials rather than embedding protected provider secrets in the Android client;
- request authentication using Firebase ID tokens;
- Firebase App Check and Play Integrity app-attestation controls;
- request validation and payload-size limits;
- rate limiting and abuse-prevention controls;
- restricted backend logging designed to avoid logging raw AI prompts in normal request-completion logs; and
- encrypted network connections where supported by the applicable service and protocol.
No mobile application, website, server, database, or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. We cannot promise that unauthorized access, security incidents, data loss, or other failures will never occur.
You are responsible for protecting your login credentials and device access.
15. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
LinkLyfe is not directed to children under 13, and children under 13 may not create or use a LinkLyfe account.
Users under 18 should use LinkLyfe only with permission from a parent or legal guardian and where permitted by applicable law.
LinkLyfe does not intend to collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 in circumstances not permitted by applicable law, we may restrict or terminate the account and take reasonable steps to delete the information as required.
If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to LinkLyfe, contact:
16. YOUR PRIVACY CHOICES AND RIGHTS
Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have rights concerning personal information, which may include the right to:
- request access to certain personal information;
- request correction of inaccurate personal information;
- request deletion of personal information;
- request or receive information about certain processing or disclosures;
- object to or limit certain processing where applicable;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
- request a portable copy of certain information where applicable; and
- appeal certain privacy-request decisions where applicable law provides that right.
You may also manage many categories of data directly in LinkLyfe by editing profile information, deleting saved items, clearing local data, changing preferences, removing shared content where the feature permits it, or deleting your account.
To submit a privacy request, email:
Use the subject line “Privacy Request” and provide enough information for us to understand the request. We may request reasonable verification before fulfilling a request in order to protect your account and other users. Where applicable law permits an authorized agent to submit a request, we may require proof of the agent’s authority and may still take steps to verify the identity of the person whose information is involved.
We may deny or limit a request where permitted by law, including where we cannot reasonably verify the request or where an exception applies.
17. INTERNATIONAL PROCESSING
LinkLyfe and its service providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. Those countries may have privacy laws that differ from the laws where you live.
Where applicable law requires specific protections for international transfers, LinkLyfe and its service providers may use legally recognized transfer mechanisms or other safeguards appropriate to the processing.
18. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS
Third-party services integrated with or linked from LinkLyfe operate under their own terms and privacy practices. This includes providers such as Google/Firebase, Google Maps Platform, OpenAI, Meta/Facebook, search providers, hosting providers, and websites you choose to open from Evidence Search or other links.
LinkLyfe is not responsible for the independent privacy practices of third-party websites or services. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing information directly to them.
19. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in LinkLyfe features, service providers, security practices, legal requirements, or data practices.
If we make material changes, we may provide notice through the app, website, account email, app-store listing, or another reasonable method. Where applicable law requires affirmative consent for a new processing activity, we will seek that consent as required.
The “Last updated” date at the top of this Privacy Policy identifies the most recent revision.
